Originally from Pembrokeshire, I am now living near Pontypool in Torfaen.  

 

I am inspired by weather events, such as fleeting sunlight, rain and storms. I love the coast, forests, moors and mountains, streams, rivers and waterfalls.

 

I paint mostly in pastels and acrylics for landscapes, but

 I'm also known for my digital paintings and sketches using my iPad, using which I specialise in portraits of jazz musicians [I often accompany my husband, who is a local jazz musician]. I have found the iPad incredibly useful for working en plain air, fast sketching and portraits of groups of people in cafes and pubs.​​​​​​​​​​​​
